Customer Reviews
“I would definitely recommend Alex. He was on time, professional, and completed a significant amount of work in a single day, including installing exterior electrical light fixtures, solar lights (22!), house numbers, hose reels, and repaired cedar siding that had been removed. Even while working outside in extreme heat, he was careful and precise, and the quality of his work was excellent. His pricing was very reasonable, and everything was completed as promised. I would gladly hire him again.”

Project overview
The original bathroom exhaust outlet on the exterior wall had a simple round vent cover that did not look finished against the siding. The homeowner wanted a cleaner exterior appearance while keeping the bathroom ventilation fully functional and making the opening less accessible to birds. Because the new vent hood had a different shape and footprint, the existing opening could not be reused as-is.
The problem
The existing exterior bathroom exhaust outlet used a simple round cover that did not fit the siding cleanly and left the opening less protected from birds.
Work performed
The old exterior vent cover was removed and the wall opening was carefully reshaped to fit the new bathroom exhaust vent hood. The siding and surrounding material were trimmed so the new cover could sit flat and tight against the wall instead of standing away from the surface. The vent connection was kept open for proper airflow, and the new hood was secured in place. The perimeter was then sealed to create a cleaner weather-resistant finish and to reduce gaps around the exterior vent.
The result
The finished installation looks more intentional on the exterior wall, keeps the bathroom exhaust operating as intended, and provides a more protected opening against birds entering the vent.
