Checking the Support Before Installation
Power is turned off and the existing box, support, wiring, and mounting components are inspected. The fan is assembled according to its instructions, secured, balanced as needed, and tested for light, speeds, direction, and remote functions. Standard replacements use suitable existing wiring. If the project needs new wiring or another licensed electrical repair, I will explain that before we go further.
If you do not know what type of ceiling box is installed, I will inspect the support first and discuss any needed change before installing the fan.
